What does it take to make a relationship happier?
Why is a good relationship even necessary? Why should you even care.
Let’s have a look.
Talking of Relationships, the picture that almost instantly pops up into our minds is of a man and a woman in love. Well that’s only partially correct because relationships are everywhere. From our relationship with our parents to the bond we share with our friends, we are surrounded by relationships in almost all areas of life. Moreover, as is often heard, ‘Man is a social animal’ and that means he needs to live in herds, or more formally speaking, communities or societies to ensure his well-being. Yup, animals we are (pun intended) and no matter how civilized or educated we might consider ourselves, there’s still remains a lot to learn.
Now why you need to improve your relationships is because it has been proven that individuals with a better overall quality of social relationships have a higher happiness quotient and a more at peace compared to the other lot. Thus, for a satisfactory life, it becomes totally necessary to work on your relationships if you feel the need. Here is how to make a relationship strong.

Realistic Expectations: The first thing to understand about any relationship is that the other one is a different individual brought up in a certain way and he/she will never be an exact carbon copy of your expectations. Then it all narrows down to taking delight in exploring who they really are and accepting the differences.
Molding Yourself: It is not always about you expecting from them, even they might expect you to be someone you are not. Now, is the time to mould yourself for them where you think you should. For isn’t that what love is? This also includes considering and appreciating the other one, when they try to change themselves for you.
Let things Stay Fresh: It is important that you never take the relationship and the other person for granted. Everybody likes attention and that what they expect from you. Let not things change with the passage of time.

Give them Space: It’s like letting the air flow through the middle. This keeps things blooming in a relationship. The real meaning of relationship is not that you interfere in each and every aspect of someone’s life. When they want to be, just let them be.
