Manish Krishnananad Pandey or popularly known as Manish Pandey is a well-known Indian International cricketer. He was born on 10th September in the year 1989 in Nainital, Uttarakhand. He plays as a right-handed middle-order batsman and currently represents Karnataka in domestic cricket and Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Representing League(IPL). He generally plays as an opening batsman for his IPL team, namely the Royal Challengers Bangalore. He has played for multiple IPL teams as he stays in great demand in the contest.
He had become the first Indian player to score a century in the IPL, which in itself is a remarkable feat to achieve. This was during the Indian Premier League season of 2009. Manish was also the wicketkeeper in the year 2018 for the three matches.
During his early life, he shifted to Bangalore from Nainital at the age of 15 with his family. His father was in the Indian Army. He has had his schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya. He later joined the Karnataka State Cricket Association, where his cricketing journey started. His sister, Anita Pandey, was also a former cricketer who represented Karnataka in domestic matches. He was also a member of the victorious Indian Under-19 team at the 2008 World Cup, which was held in Malaysia.

He made his One Day International(ODI) cricket debut against Zimbabwe on 14th July in the year 2015. The match was simply fantastic, with Manish achieving a 144 runs partnership with Kedar Jadhav.
Moreover, he made his 20-20 International debut on the same tour for India, precisely on the 17th of July 2015. He had been selected and played against the Australia squad in the year 2016.
He was amongst one of the great players and was selected as a replacement of Yuvraj Singh in World T-20 in the year 2016. After that, he had to take a gap because of his injury in one of his matches. However, he had still made his place to play in the series against Sri Lanka after that.
