In the city of dreams, she is making her dreams come true. She is none other than RJ Sapna Bhatt. Sapna is a vivacious person who has been in this industry and has won people’s hearts with her mesmerizing and cheerful voice.
Sapna hails from the hills, namely Dehradun Uttarakhand. She completed her under graduation and post-graduation in Mass communication. In her initial days, she was intrigued by the world of advertisement. She started working for an advertising agency. While working, she got an opportunity to work in Dubai. Dubai’s advertisement was a bit different from India’s. They preferred radio advertisements more.
Sapna started doing voice over for radio commercials. Someone recognized the potential in her voice and asked her to give radio jockeying a shot. Apprehensive at first, Sapna continued working for the agency. However, over time, she realized that work in an Ad agency is monotonous and is hindering her potential. Giving in to the advice she earlier, she started her journey as an RJ in 106.4 FM in Mumbai. Mumbaikers welcomed the Pahadi, daughter with open arms. Since then, Sapna has interviewed Television as well as Bollywood celebrities.
Sapna has always been very passionate about culture. Whenever she gets a chance, she promotes Pahadi music. She says that though she stays in Mumbai, her home is in the hills. Sapna has plans to start an online radio service in Uttarakhand and work for Uttarakhand’s radio industry.
