In this ceremony, a kalash filled with rice is kept at the main door and the bride is asked to make entry into the house, pushing the kalash with her right toe. This represents a warm welcome of the bride into the groom’s house and his family member’s hearts as well.
Couple Games
As soon as the bride starts to get settled in her new home, the family organizes some indoor games like find the ring, untie the knot etc. These games are played between the bride and groom and are meant to enhance bonding of the bride with the groom as well as the family.

This is an exclusive Pahaadiritual in which the groom’s family visits the groom’s house. The groom’s family organizes a feast for them which is almost like a wedding reception. The bride’s family presents the newlywed couple with their blessings and gifts like fruits and ornaments.
