Manisha was born in New Delhi on 15 December 1995. Being from a Garwahli family, she has always been connected to her culture. Her father, Mr. Vinod Rawat, is a Scientist Officer, while her mother is a housewife. Like every little girl, Manisha was a daddy’s girl. She looked up to her father for inspiration. Her father’s witty antics got her interested in acting.
She completed her schooling at Hansraj Smarak Senior Secondary School, New Delhi. She is a beauty with a brain indeed. She got into the Institute of Company Secretaries Of India. She participated in many co-curricular activities in college and played many roles in various short films. It was from here that she realized that she wanted to pursue her career in modeling.

Since then, there has been no looking back for her. She auditioned for the lead role of Zee TV’s show ‘Guddan Tumse Na Ho Paega’ but was shortly replaced by someone else. Still, she never lost hope. She landed various supporting roles, but her big break came from the show Mangalam Dangalam on Sab TV. It is a comedy-drama that gave Manisha huge recognition. In 2019, she was cast for the role of Goddess Saraswati in ‘Jag Janani Maa Vaishno Devi,’ which made her a household face.
Even after reaching Mumbai, the memories of hills have never left her. In an interview, she said, “I am proud to be a Garwahli, and I take immense pride in speaking my mother tongue whenever I can.” One thing that makes her stand out from the crowd is that whenever she is interviewed by big media houses such as India TV or ABPNews, she makes sure to sing a Garwahli song. She loves traveling and exploring Uttarakhand. In one of her interviews, she said, “I love visiting my Nani’s house in Duggada, and I want to visit Lansdowne next. ”
