Devalgarh is a very famous spiritual tourist destination located in Pauri Garhwal of Uttarakhand. It is situated at a distance of 15 km from a place called Khirsu of Pauri. Devalgarh was founded by Raja Deval of the city named Kangar. Since then, this place has been named after him. The city was founded in 1512. Devalgarh was the capital of the Garhwal Kingdom in the 16th century when Ajaypal was the ruler of the Garhwal kingdom.
